General William Shelton, who oversees U.S. Space Command, said in a
classified briefing that the White House tried to pressure him to change
his testimony to make it more favorable to LightSquared, a company which
is tied to a large Democratic donor, reports the Daily Beast website.
The episode was confirmed by The Daily Beast in interviews with
administration officials and the chairman of a congressional oversight
committee.

The Pentagon has been raising concerns about LightSquared.
LightSquared's majority owner is an investment fund run by Democratic
donor Philip Falcone, the website reports.

Sam, all the rest is accurate, but since Mr Falcone has donated twice as
much to Republicans as to Democrats, it seems somewhat misleading to
call him a "Democrat donor".

Oh, I see, it's just like arms manufacturing countries that sell arms to

IMO, the U.S.A. is no longer "circling the drain," it is already GOING
down the drain. You would have to live in the U.S.A. to know that.

It might take Divine Intervention to prevent further damage. I don't
think redemption lies within the power of -any- of these mobsters who
make promises they know they can't keep.

Making promises that they would be able to keep, would result in
losing the elections
(non only in the US of course)
