If that is a question about an iPhone Ap there may be a better place to ask
it, such as http://discussions.apple.com/forum.j...D=1278&start=0

Not possible to create a route and save it. At least I've not seen a way
to do it. It will tell you how to get to a place via several ways, but you
can't save it. By the way, does your 1.3 speak abbreviations correctly? Does
it say EAST and PARKWAY and AVENUE, or does it say the letters?

Sorry, I haven't tried it, so I don't know if it speaks correctly. I am
major disappointed I can't save a trip/route, I have wasted a lot of
money on this app.

Don't be the app is really great, and convenient to use, instead of a
dedicated GPS. TOMTOM is always coming up with free updates, and it's
important for you to file your request via the website. Saving a custom
route is a good idea.

If you do that, TomTom's name for a saved custom route is an Itinerary.

I don't think you can customize an itinerary, which is what he wants to
do. You have to use whatever route they give you. In other words if you want
to use the fastest route, but use a different street to get there along the
way.

Understood - I was just giving him the term that TomTom would understand
and use in any new feature request he decided to make to the company.

Thanks all for your inputs. I can customize my route but I am unable to
save it, the app looks and seems great in all other aspects, I was
really looking forward to using it. I will request it be considered in
an update, it is too expensive to delete and ignore. I have co-pilot
live which permits me to save a route/ itinerary, I like the looks and
feel of the tomtom more. Again thanks, I thought I might be overlooking
something.

Corse you can, and you can customise it much more than a non itinerary
by including extra waypoints to force it to got thru those too.

No you dont.

> In other words if you want to use the fastest route, but use a different street to get there along the way.

You just add that as a waypoint.
