Trip Planner in nuvi 2360 and Recalculation

Just took a fairly long trip using the Trip Planner. I has the nice
option of letting you specify the routing for different legs of you
trip. Because of road construction the "navigation" was forced into a
recalculation. This leg was set for Shortest Distance but I believe
the recalculation used my system default which was set as Fastest.
Has anybody else noticed this sort of thing?
