I've downloaded and successfully used the free version of Trackmaker with my Bluetooth GPS receiver to record a recent journey made by train. Great!
 But I have been unable to load a map for use with the program. The maps offered on www gpstm com maps php are compressed files which have no extension - I assume that the extension should be .MAP but have tried many different combinations (GIF, TXT, JPG etc.). Using any of the graphics extensions result in the error "format not recogised". The program seems to accept loading a .MAP file via "Maps-Open Temporary Map" but the map doesn't display or appear in the list of maps loaded. Please can someone help me!
