Tracklogs and Google Earth Question

Why are the times wrong when a Nuvi tracklog is opened in Google earth? When these are loaded into Mapsource I get the date/time snapshot of every trackpoint but not in Google earth. What displays in google earth appears to be the wrong time also displayed in 24h format. Is there a setting I'm missing?
