Navagon has that TT doesn't, is the 3D Panarama view, which is very cool.
But in reality, how much time do you spend staring at the screen when
driving?

No idea what a NAVAGON is, but the TomTom is OK. TomTom do tend to spam
people all the time about buying maps etc. I watch the screen quite a bit
whilst driving to see road names or to navigate in the dark. You can see
the "shape" of roads ahead.
