Tomtom "Map Share"

My navigator is a Tomtom One XL.
I'd like to know where I can read the step-by-step procedure to enter
my corrections of the map and then to share those corrections with the
other users. I have been looking hours for that (on Tomtom help as
well as in the web), with no success.
Regards

Tap the Main Menu to get Main Menu 1 of 2.
Tap the Arrow on the right hand side to get Main Menu 2 of 2.
Tap Map Corrections at top right hand and follow your nose.
Regards

I seem to remember that the first time you do this you need to be
connected to TomTomHome so the preference can be registered on your account

found it, thanks a lot John.

Now, I wonder what is the type of correction to be expressed in the
following case: at the intersection of street A with street B, a
certain turn left maneuver is not allowed according to my map, while
it is allowed in fact. How would you express such correction on your
navigator?
Best regards

Tap Map Corrections
This takes you to a screen with Correct a map error in top left hand
corner
Tap Correct a map error to get Map corrections 1 of 2 screen
Tap Change turn restrictions in bottom left hand corner

Regards

Hi all,
Glad to see some activity on this site.
While you are on problem solving mode, I have one. I have a Go 730. One of
the reasons I bought it was its advertised ability to give warning when one
exceeds the speed limit. I wasn't much impressed with its performance in
this and especially as I found only very major highways had speed zones
marked to enable it. So I set about trying, through map corrections, to mark
in the speed limits on the roads I most travelled.
From my reading of the manual I believe I should be able to double tap a
section of the highway - where 80kph starts - and double tap where it
changes to say 60kph. I should then have the highway between the two points
highlighted and can mark them as 80kph.
This does not happen. All a double tap does on my machine is move the cursor
to the double tap point. Entire highways are selected.
Has anyone else attempted this and, if so, with what success.
Cheers,
Dan

Perhaps you'd get more results if you started a new thread with your
question, especially since your question seems to be unrelated to the
thread you placed it in...

Its not unrelated, it involves correcting maps, and thats a fundamental part of map share.

Not shared, just his own maps.
