TOMTOM GO 700 map change

I have a TOMTOM GO 700 bought in 2006 in europe when i was living there, i want to change my western europe map to USA&canda one, i tried but it seems that i need to update my navcore to a version 7 (version 5 in my TT), but after i did the upgrade, i can't find the map in my device when i turn it on. any idea? compatibility problem between map verison and navcore?

try using Autoactivate
