Just another thing about my Tomtom ONE. Why does it keep asking me to
agree to some disclaimer (or something like that)? I cant read that
small print without reading glasses and it tends to pop up every so
often while I am driving, and tells me to click on "CONTINUE". Why
does it do this?

A working TomTom will only ask that question once on power-up and never
during travel. Your device is faulty.

In answer to your other question, yes a working Garmin is better than a
faulty TomTom, but then so is a working TomTom.
