Hi.
I am going to Florida this Saturday and I have arranged to borrow
TomTom One V3 from a friend. I have another friend who has downloade
the USA SE maps from TomTom for her visit to Florida. She uses he
TomTom One everyday so cannot lend me hers. She's also got a lot o
stuff stored/programmed so was reluctant to let me borrow it in case i
gets screwed up - understandable I think.
However
Can I get the US map from her and load it onto the other TomTom One V3
How would I do it because I've never had a SatNav before.
Thanks

No you can't. The maps are locked to the device they are installed on;
like the dreaded DRM on music

The only way you can do it is to borrow your second friend's device -
complete with USA map - and lend her your first friend's device to use while
you're away.
