I'm researching the spread of GPS technology into the civilian market
and I wanted to get a hold of some sales data of GPS receivers, but I
have no idea where to start. Can anyone out there point me in the
right direction?

Companies likely hold that data pretty closely.

But I would try a Google search on 'gps sales data' etc.
