Replacing my Nuvi 350

My Nuvi 350 is taking longer and longer to "Acquire Satellites". I don't
understand why that would be, but it sometimes takes 10 minutes or more.
Usually that is not an issue when I am leaving from home, because I
generally know the way for the first 10 miles/minutes anyway. But, if I am
away from home, I often need GPS guidance almost right away.

Couple that with my Maps are now getting a little out of date (2009), and
the cost of map upgrades is a big step toward the price of a new unit with
perpetual map upgrades built into the price. So, much as I detest the
concept of "disposable technology", I find myself looking for a new GPS. I
will stick with Garmin, and prefer a new Nuvi. That said, I'd really like
the idea of one that uses the same car mount as came with my Nuvi 350, that
is a suction cup mount with a click in for the Nuvi that incorporates the
electrical connection into the mount, I.e. I don't need to insert a separate
cable from power source to the NUVI. Just handier, and presumably I could
leave one mount in my car, and but the new mount in my wife's car, and just
move the new NUVI back and forth.

So, I'd appreciate a recommendation for a new NUVI model with lifetime map
subscription, blue tooth, and compatible connection.
Traffic is only moderately interesting, I don't live in an area with much
traffic to deal with.

Thanks

I wanted the very same thing, except for the lifetime maps (you DO end
up paying for them, and yet--as you prove--still end up buying a new
unit anyway). Ended up with a refurb 1690 from Amazon.

Anyway, head to Garmin's web site and look for units that have the
feature where it remembers where you are when you remove it from the
mount (for finding your way back in large/unknown cities, huge parking
lots, whatever). That's the ticket to that feature.

Thanks for comments, I found a good deal on Amazon for a Nuvi 1390LMT. I
wanted full North American maps for a trip through Canada planned for next
summer. Got the wider screen than my 350, Life Time Maps, and Traffic.
Connects to the Dash mount I already had, as well as coming with a new
suction cup mount. I'm moving my favorites over to it now.
