Ignoring Terry's rudeness, I cannot shed any light, I too am not an expert on drivers. However,
if the upgrade does not work, could you not uninstall it and return to the version which did work?
Also, I'm sure that Anquet's support would help if you mention your bewilderment with their intuitive s/w (soft snigger).

Gentlemen

It was not my intention to be rude and I am sorry if that was how it
appeared.

I am sure that someone out there knows the answers to my questions and I
would very much welcome a response to my original questions from other
members.

Regards

Terry

I don't know Anquet mapping as I use Memory-Map (I apologise for
mentioning that, and going a little wide of topic, but there you are, I
do), and therefore don't know what 'bug' you are talking about. But with
regard to the driver you are asking about.
"The purpose of the Microsoft Intermediate GPS Driver is to allow
multiple GPS-aware applications to simultaneously receive data from a
GPS receiver. If you only run one GPS-aware application at a time, then
you do not need to enable or configure the Intermediate GPS Driver"

Pol

Thanks. I knew someone would know the answer.

On the basis of what you say there is no way that Anquet will fix my big
with this driver!

Once again

Thanks

That's perfectly okay glad to be of assistance. Perhaps Anquet support
could help you more http://www.anquet.co.uk/support.asp
