Papago* maps, unless zoomed in, show just main roads,

unlike e.g. MapKing which shows all side roads ( as far as screen
resolution can ), so * can't be as useful as e.g. MapKing's ; often a
shorter route exists between 2 main roads which meet @ an angle,
so such shorter routes will be invisible in * until zoomed in i.e.
when even a 6" screen can show just a few square miles, & likely
too late for users to choose shorter routes. So * can save cpu time,
but are stupid.
