This has nothing to do with the University. They know nothing about it, so
don't
fill any online surverys in that claim to be donating money to a charity
(registered business)
and can't say which one!

It's sole purpose is to build up a SPAM LIST by hoping to get as many
gullible users
as possible to respond.

If it was to do with a university, it would be posted from their system,
this message is not.

I would respectfully ask you to keep your insubstantiated, offensive
and quite frankly inaccurate comments to yourself (and I urge others t
ignore them).

I am a PhD student at Nottingham University and this survey i
supporting my research.

I'm not quite sure how it can be used to build up a spam list as i
does not ask for any personally identifiable details.

Furthermore, if you actually look at the survey you would see th
charities that it is supporting.

I trust that this clarifies the situation for everybody

How do they get the spam list?

Hi Jon. No problem. I have given you a whole load of information via your
form. I hope that you will publish your findings, so we can all see the
results.

Mark.

Since you're replying to my post which was aimed at the Tiscali moron,
you're clearly either (a) thick or (b) incapable of using a news reader.
Since you're using a banter site to access Usenet it probably (c) both
of the above.

Making comments as you have to those who were pointing out that a troll
is a troll marks you out as "not worth the effort".

Any PhD gained by issuing "surveys" is a joke. HTH.

Anyone getting sniffy about being "a PhD student" is self-selecting as a
tosser.

Thank you for your comments, Steve Firth.

I'm sorry I've upset you. My reply was, indeed, in response to Joh
Veldman's comments but I wasn't certain to whom you were directing you
insult!

I was only trying to validate the existence of the survey and show tha
it is genuine. Sorry if this caused you offense.

To those of you who have taken part... your particpation is greatl
appreciated. Thank you. I will endeavour to make the results availabl
to those who are interested, in due course.

To others... it's not worth getting upset by the survey - if you don'
want to take part, then don't!

Regards,

L

You haven't. All you've done is to confirm my opinion of the "soft"
sciences, that they are for people with soft heads.
