You can do all that with an ipod or iphone for playing the mp3.

And when you use the ipod or iphone to play the mp3s instead of just the
TT, you get a much better user interface as well as that effect you listed.
And you dont need a 9xx TT either, most of the more recent cheaper TTs do that too.

That capability is still available as long as you dont want the TT to play the mp3s.
And you can mostly load the earlier engine into the later TTs that have deleted that function too.
