Hello everybody,

I'm thinking of buying a new gps and want to buy the Garmin Nuvi 2360.
The reviews are OK but i don't see a lot of user reviews. Can someone
please tell me if it is any good? Or should i be looking for anything
else. (I don't like the tomtoms. Don't ask me why I just don't)

Oh yeah. I'm from the Netherlands and TMC is essential for me.

I hope to hear from you all..

I bought the 2360 in January.
If I knew your specific needs, I could tell you "if it is any good".
Since I don't, these are my pros and cons.
Pro:
- it is smaller than my Garmin Streetpilot, so that I can put it in my
pocket when I leave my vehicle.
- it allows me to upload and use my previously created waypoints.
- spoken information is understandable.

Con:
- the voice command feature does not control zooming in or out. The zoom
level is automatic.
- battery life, for use while walking, is not very good.
- routes transferred from MapSource do not function
- when displaying data on the right of the screen, remaining screen
space is small - a 5 inch diagonal screen may be better than the 4.3" of
this model.
- traffic and lane assist are not yet implemented for the map of my city
(Winnipeg, Canada)

Though it may not look like it above, I am happy that I chose this
model, because no one makes a GPS that exactly suits my desires.

I am guessing the reason not many review because not many people upgrading
their older GPS yet, and most buyers don't write the review.

So, in general all GPSes are pretty much similar to each other, we just
need to pay some closer attention to some basic features you may wish to
have, and you can't go wrong with any. Example when I upgraded mine

- I went with anti-glare so I can use with my motorcycle

- Larger screen for weak old eyes to see better, the arrow showing the next
turn etc... And some other things like louder speaker etc...

Some others may go for other features, other than that the newer GPS is
much cheaper and better than older model. I started with Garmin GPS over a
decade ago, and I paid around $800-1000+ for much worse GPS
