I am looking to get a Win CE GPS device that I can unlock and load
Oziexplorer CE to use Memory map marine charts. (http://
navmanunlocked.wikispaces.com/Unlock) MM do a RoadAngel device at
£300, but a F10/S device would be quite a bit cheaper. Apart from the
F10 getting a long in the tooth, is there any advantage with the S30.
The S50 with the widescreen display may be a worthwhile option.

Grateful for any thoughts/comments.

CS. you have posted this message 3 times, I assure you it is getting to the
group. I think the reason you have not had a reply, is because the answer
has eluded those who have read your message. Leave it for a few days and I'm
sure someone will produce the answer. Darren is the fountain of all wisdom
when it comes to Sat Navs and he has not been around for a few days.

Hi, I can't offer any help about the GPS device (I'm still happily using my
Hx4700) but I am curious about using Ozi CE with MM charts.
Are these charts .qct format? The only MM ones I've seen are.
If so, how will you use Ozi to view qct files?
I'd love to know!
tia

Sorry about the postings - after I had posted them, nothing appeared
back in the groups. I assumed my arcane system architecture was
preventing the postings.
Memory Map/Maptech marine charts are in the BSB format which OziE is
licensed by Maptech to read/display/use. Works well on my laptop, so
figured it should work ok on a CE Navman - and OziE indicates it
should work.
