I use TT3 via a Dell Axim everywhere I travel for work, and would love a
program that I can start on a Monday morning, and whenever I am travelling,
it's recording where I go, how far, and to create some kind of report on a
weekly basis.

It would be even better if it automatically started when TomTom did, as all
mileage on weekdays is due to work, and none is personal.

Does such software exist, and is it reliable?

If all your mileage is personal: try your odometer on Mon am and Friday pm
plus a simple spread sheet!

Destinator used to do this - I'd be more explicit but I've lost my CDs and have
upgraded my Axim firmware so the original installation has become lost for the
moment.

It's very comparable with TT, has more features but longer-winded entry method.
