I am using Anquet mapping software on my Asus A696 pocket pc. This has a
built in GPS chip. Recently Anquet up-graded their software and one of the
things they did was incorporate the Microsoft intermediate GPS driver,
allegedly to "fix" the GPS bug. You might guess that I have a serious
problem caused by a GPS bug in their software which is not "fixed" by this
upgrade
Can anyone tell me what this Microsoft driver is supposed to do - what
benefits is it supposed to bring?
Am I supposed to setup my pocket pc to benefit from this? The only
settings that I can change from the menu on my Asus appear to relate to an
external gps device when I presumably want to configure the internal GPS
settings.
Anyone able to shed any light.
Many thanks
Terry
