Mapshare updates

Looking for advice here. Put in a speed limit on a road I use regularly. I
thought all went well until I travelled it today. The limit is being shown
for the bits of road before and after where the actual limit is. I can see
that I could go back in and raise the limit to 60 where it should be and 40
for the village I originally meant it to be but is there anyway I can remove
this totally? I have not connected the unit to the PC as I do not want this
error going out.
