Here's a comforting thought: I just sent in a support request regarding
my MapSend Topo Canada v1.00e. No sooner was the request sent, than I
received this message:
"This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

(E-Mail Removed)"
Maybe email service to India is down?

No, they are playing hide and seek.

Magellan seems to be adrift without a paddle. They can still churn out
hardware, but support is lacking. It's pretty sad.

You might have more luck contacting them if you use their online form:

That is a different form to the one I filled out earlier. I will be
interested to see if it works any better. Thanks.

Nope. It goes to the same address, and gets bounced just as quickly.

Hmmm. I got a reply the same day. The answer wasn't useful but they did
reply.

Tried sending direct from my email rather than the web. Got this message:

"Your message could not be delivered.

The recipient's e-mail address was not found. Please verify the e-mail
address
and resend.

This may also be due to a network problem. If the problem continues,
please
contact your system administrator.

Host support.magellangps.com not found.

The following recipients did not receive this message:

<(E-Mail Removed)>"

Somehow I am not comforted by this...

We cannot calculate the route because we cannot find the destination you
specified!
