Actually I sent him an email before I sent one to the generic customer
service address Also sent one to Mr. Vuong(sp, I don't have the email
addresses in front of me). All I said was that here are some questions I
sent to technical support- nobody ever answered them, could you please
direct them to somebody that will respond. Finelli, and a host of others
are no secret if you do a little searching. Apparently though they only
respond to the most dire screw ups, like the people who sent their unit
in three months ago and are still waiting. I only wanted information. My
guess is that his email address is overflowing.
So here is one of the questions I sent them- Is Magellan ever going to
release a pulic API for the Triton series, as they have done for
previous handheld GPS devices so that 3rd party developers (read EASY
GPS, Expert GPS, and GSAK) can interface their software with them. I
explained that for a lot of people that was an important feature to
consider when buying handhelds. There is a whole group devoted to the
Triton (tritonforum.com) that has been unable to pry that answer out of
them.
