I own a magellan roadmate 2200T and i find it a shame that magellan
doesnt offer free updates with their products....

does anyone know where i can find a copy of the updates with out
having to pay out an additional $80?

You may want to find out how 'current' the update is. For my Roadmate
2000 the update is 3rd quarter 2006. Not very current for $80.
