This is NOT a wise thing to do. You might end up with an expensive
"brick".
If you want the additional features, sell yours and buy another one.
It is not really "firmware". Set your host computer to see system and
hidden files. Connect to the GPS via the USB port and copy everything.
It may not work when copied to a different unit.......and may not work when
restored to the original unit either.
