Yet another software upgrade for the Go920 and guess what.......

Amongst other things it allows you to receive your directions from
your radio (again) as long as you are listening to music broadcast via
the TomTom.

There must be one logical braincell in that company, or have enough of
us pointed out the flaw in the reasoning why they stopped it in the
first place??

I am told that the authority that regulates broadcasting and airwave
allocation prohibited TomTom from broadcasting the directions
intermittently!
Apparently you have to broadcast continually so that people who tune to
the channel hear a continous broadcast so they are not surprised when
hearing
"Turn Left" on a seemingly empty channel.

Why TomTom couldn't be bothered to explain this to us is a mystery!
