Using GPS recordings and ground sightings, I've completed a map of the
nearby woods trail system.
http://g.co/maps/srmyw About 90% of the
trails are mapped.
Major trail accuracy is better than 5 metres (my guestimation) based on
10 or more passes averaged in plotting and minor trails better than 20
metres (probably closer to 10). Though in the deeper ravines, the
variance was quite high so hard to tell.
Main problem is the dense foliage/evergreens and deep ravines resulting
in poor horizontal geometry and of course no references to check the
trail position against.
