GNSS Firmware Engineer
A market leading Telecommunications Company is looking to recruit someone who has a proven background as a GNSS Engineer.
Key Skills:
In depth understanding and practical knowledge of Least Squares, Kalman Filtering and other numerical optimization techniques.
Good understanding of statistical techniques for error analysis, error detection and elimination.
Implementation knowledge of GPS/ GNSS location, navigation algorithms, error sources and the techniques used to mitigate them.
Software programming in C on embedded platforms (e.g. ARM).
Familiarity with scripting languages.
Software Assembler coding on embedded platforms (e.g. ARM or DSP).
Use of Matlab.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, Development, Implementation, Optimization and Test of new features on GNSS measurement and positioning engine.
Architecture, design, development and optimization of GNSS and A-GNSS location & navigation.
Implementation, testing and analysis of new algorithms running in high level language (C).
Support of customer releases and verification activities.
