I use an elderly Garmin Quest and recently keyed in a rout from
Steventon in Oxfordshire to Dorne in Scotland using, "Mapsource". I
wanted to print a set of directions so that my wife/navigator could
enjoy plotting the route as we drove along and was disapointed at how
sparse the detail of the directions were in that other rout making
software gives much more detail so I wonderd if it was possible to tweek
the software to give more detail to the direction sheet.

Perhaps Google Maps would be better for that. Of course it might not choose
the same route as the Garmin...

I may assume that it is not possible to give more details to that route.
If that is the case does anyone know of any other GPS software that
will allow that?
