Garmin Vista HCx & Degree Display Wierdness

On a Vista HCx, apparently with the latest firmware, the
degree display on the sattelite page is correct for the
setting in the setup page (decimal degrees). But the map
page displays degrees and decimal minutes. Is there a fix
or work-around for this?
