FOR SALE...

....with OEM leather case, power cord, original box, and mount with 2
cradles. The latest operating software was just installed last night. Of
course, it has 2008 maps and you'd need to buy the latest maps if you feel
you need them. It finds everything as it is.

It is in excellent cosmetic condition but has developed an intermittent
issue in "locating satellites". It works most of the time, but not all. I
believe the flip-up antenna may have developed a loose wire in it. So, if
you're handy and willing to experiment, you can get a great deal.

I'm asking $75.00, including USPS Priority Shipping to the 50 states. But
don't be afraid to send me an offer. Sometimes, the simplicity of the deal
comes before the dollar amount. In other words, make it easy and I'll take
less. Payment by Paypal is fine. Of course, the deal is final- no returns.

It would be far best to email me directly at crothmanAToptonlineDOTnet as
opposed to posting here. Thanks.

New ones that work every time with a factory warranty can be had for
less
http://www.megagps.com/?gclid=CKaY0p...Fcfe4AodOF68OQ
Starting at $66.

I paid $400 for my 350 when new, but I gave it away when I upgraded a
few months ago. Amazing how the value goes down on electronics.

I didn't actually check the current price for one, just took a stab. But
with all due respect, your advertised ones are most likely refurbs with a
"recertified warranty" (their words), and the seller doesn't say what they
come with for the advertised price. So, for example, are the case, car cord,
windshield mount, and external charger included? I'll bet you not- that by
the time they get through with you, you'll be nickel and dimed for a lot
more than $66.

For example, they're selling the windshield dash mount for $17.00 alone. My
unit comes with that. Again, I'll bet that advertised price doesn't include
that part.

Also note that the large words FREE SHIPPING are qualified by the smaller
words "on orders over $200". I'm including shipping in my sale- they're not.
Add at least $10 more onto that $66.

Add up the car cord, the charger, the windshield mount, and the OEM case,
and the shipping and I think you'll find those items alone are worth close
to the price I'm asking.

That's a sucker's site, designed to loss-lead you into their net. I know
your intentions were good, and you are right about electronics losing value,
but again with due respect, I do suggest you study the things that you post
more before you step on a guy's selling toes.

Sorry for the seemingly double post, but for some reason it took a long time
for the first ad to show up in the n.g.

That might be a little harsh since the recertified unit is likely to
work the same as a new one, and comes with a warranty to that effect,
while yours is admittedly broken and comes with no warranty, no
return. If I was in the market, I know which way I'd go.

You see that you are wrong. This comes with it too.

Nope, I've bought from them. Yes, they have some refurbs as well as
new. Every price range from $65 has something to offer. A sucker is
someone that buys a unit that knowingly has problems and comes with no
warranty at all.

Funny thing is, you are selling a used unit that may or may not work,
but want to buy a cradle and it must be in pristine condition. At
least you provided a good laugh.

BTW, I have a Pentium computer for sale. $3500 new but I'll et it go
for $3000. Interested?

And the recert units on that page do in fact come with the needed
accessories. From the "In the box" tab on the 1250 (link for 1200 wasn't
working for me when I checked)...

nüvi 1250
Preloaded City Navigator® NT data for the 50 States, Canada and Puerto Rico
Vehicle suction cup mount
Vehicle power cable
Dashboard disc
Quick start manual

I will stand corrected by the both of you then. It wasn't my intention to
debate the matter. I think it bothers me when someone places a FS ad and
someone else counter-posts an opinion about where people can "do better".
But such is the nature of the unmoderated newsgroups.

It was my thought that I might find the right person who knows exactly
what's wrong, knows how to fix it, and feels it's a good deal (don't forget
that I did say "make me an offer"). People should always choose the
direction they feel most comfortable with.

Not to beg the issue, but I'd like to know the conditions of that
"recertified warranty", who is backing it and what hoops you have to jump
through to get it honored.

Anyway, apologies all around. No harm, no foul.

Mine is, in Amazon, but I have Amazon Prime.
But unlike your "the deal is final- no returns", I can return mine.
Just give it away to a family member or friend. That's what I have done
with all my previous ones.
