I am have great difficulty finding information re a purchase.

I need a hand held GPS which will allow me to use the Nat Resources Canada
1:50,000 Digital Topo maps

I have reviewed the Mapsource maps and the detail is far too coarse for
navigating lakes in N Saskatchewan. The Topo maps from the Government are
detailed and allow for good navigation as they have landmarks as well as
surface information

Can anyone advise please....I am not seriously concerned about cost...I am
already aware that is is possiblee to use a GPS and a Seperate PDA/Laptop
and software such as OZI Explorer....I am seeking a single unit that will do
both !

Any help would be appreciated

Ibycus Topo maps - check first to see if they go far enough north for
the lakes you want.

I would recommend the (obsolete - hahaha) gpsmap 76 cx.
