Hi,

I have a pre owned Garmin Nuvi 770.

I was given a file EU_SpeedCams_2009_v02-85.rar which has a database
of European Speed cameras. It loads onto the Nuvi from an exe file.
The contents of the accompanying nfo file is shown below.

However it produces odd warnings for speed limits like 19 mph and 31
mph. Other warnings are given various letters like Alert O.

Any suggestion what the problem might be please/

David

I have a nuvi200w. On that device, any POI with a number in its name
comes up as a speed alert. It sounds like your custom POI file is a
conversion from some other SatNav format and the "oddities" of Garmin POI
files have not been taken into account. The odd numbers coming up as
speed alerts are probably road or junction designations in the POI name.
