Lightsquared has nowhere to go. It was a ****ant *idea* to begin with
and it is a dogs--t idea now.
I would rather the article said "...One amendment to the bill
prohibits AUTHORIZATION ( instead of *funding* ) for the FCC to remove
conditions on or permit certain broadband operations...."
This Financial Services and General Govn't Appropriations bill removes
$$$ for what? The "Testing for Interference" phase is already over
and the results are in. Lightsquared CANNOT transmit on the frequency
of their choice with the power level of their choice without
interference to GPS. The Question has already been answered.
So now what.
