Perhaps there was a problem with that one?

I just connected, and it tells me 2011.40 is the most recent one, and I
already have that.

Oops! Now that I've updated the map updater program, 2012.10 is
available for download. It's happening pretty slow, so you may wish to
wait a few days.

I just got 2012.10 a couple of hours ago. No problems.

Thanks for the heads up. Connected and got it. Took 2.5 hours to
complete. Always takes about that much time. No problems.

Thanks for the notification however I have something strange going
on.
We have a slow connection (8hr download, always) so it completed in
the middle of the night and I did not see it end. My GPS Nuvi 855 say
map version 2011.40 but MapSource show 2011.40 and 2012.40 installed.
Can anybody tell me what is going on? Garmin say my GPS software is
uptodate.

MapSource shows all maps it has access to.
Mine shows both CNNA NT (for my 76CSx)
and metroguide v.7 (for my older 76S)
It also shows OSM (Central America)
