Here's another interesting challenge....

A new interstate North/South extension just opened up west of Chicago -
I-355 south -
It of course has been under construction for years.
Today, I took it... from the end of the old road - south to I-80
My Garmin Nuvi 260 had me going across the nice open "white space" screen.
The current map is the Garmin City Nav North America NT 2008.

So - for the mappers.... it's a challenge.
How to document an almost completed road, yet not use it for routing ?
If they have to wait for "public access" to get it mapped,
then it will not appears for probably a couple of years,
and go un-used for routing... when it's there, avail, and wide open.

I have my Garmin Nuvi 260
with City Nav North America NT 2008.

There have been a couple of POIs
and streets that are not contained in 2008.

Wonder if newer version has them ?

#1 - POI - Wheaton, IL - school -> Wheaton North High School
#2 - street - Lake in the Hills, IL - Coyote Lakes Circle

both have been around for years, but don't show up -

---> here was the Garmin 2009 map info -

Wheaton North High School
701 W THOMAS RD
Wheaton, IL 60187

Cannot find Coyote Lakes Circle in Garmin MapSource 2009
