How do I change detail level on a 2D map on Tom Tom XXL. Currently I have
to zoom in too far before side roads show up,

I assume that the level of detail is tied to the level of zoom, so you will
need to select the level that best meets or compromises all of your needs.

Well, the more I zoom in the greater the detail. However, with a garmin you
can increase or decrease the amount of detail as it pertains to the zoom
level. What I want is to be able to zoom out and still be able to see more
detail. Do you have any specific information on the TomTom?
