C330 "no map data available"

Last week I bought my daughter a Garmin C330. It was working great during
her move to North Carolina. Now she is getting a message that says "No Map
Data Available". All her previous destinations are gone. She can't
navigate at all. At one point she seemed to get into a touch screen
calibration mode. Any ideas?

Are the maps on a card of some sort? If so, is the card seated?

Take the front cover around the screen off. Press the reset button on
the right middle.
If this doesn't work then go to garmin.com and install that update
wizard on your pc and patch your C330 with the provided USB cable. This
should auto update everything.
I had a "no voice" problem with mine and that cured it.
