That's not the problem. The 541 accepts only G2 maps.
If you're using cGPSmapper to convert from Reverse Polish, you can
make G2 maps.
From the cpgsMapper Documentation, the below goes in the
"Declarations" section:
Marine=x Indicates if the map is of marine type.
N or 0 .. non-marine map
Y or 1 .. marine map
B or 2 .. marine map – compatible with G2 devices
X or 3 .. non-marine map – compatible with G2
devices – be
aware – Garmin does not produce such non-marine maps
compatible with G2 devices only
