910 using rds-tmc

I bought one of these receivers and plugged it into my gps. The gps
recognizes it. I do not see anything different on the screen. The most I
get is the beginning of an audio traffic alert which is immediately chopped
off with route changed. The route does not change.

Using 7.903 for the app.

Anyone have more luck?
