I've got a two or three year old Garmin Nuvi 255WT that I'm going to upgrade on Black Friday (will be a Christmas gift from my wife).

I'm either going with the 1390LMT ($129), 50LM ($109), or 40LM ($89).

For anyone who has used either of them I'd love to hear your thoughts and opinions!

As far as the Live Traffic Update feature, I think over the passed two (or three) years the one on my 255WT has actually helped me twice. Once I did take the detour and the other I didn't and was only delayed about 10 extra minutes. I think it's more of a 'secure feeling' feature to me than anything else knowing that if I'm going through/to a large city (maybe 8 times a year) it would let me know if I was going to encounter a long delay.
